This project was probably one of my favorites. We took 500 brand new floppy disks that we found on eBay, silk screened them in silver ink, slit 'em open and stuffed the CD and liner notes inside.
This packaging won a Silver Award in the 16th Louisville Graphic Design Association (LGDA) 100 Awards. Velocity Weekly gave it the "Best CD Packaging Award" in their 2006 Music Issue, and had this to say: "With the whole rock world seemingly going '80s, Reading kicked it up a notch with its debut album packaged to look like an old floppy disk. Brilliant."
