The Fair and Expo Center's site took about 2 months to complete, and MANY man-hours. The content and design was the easy part, the backend was a little trickier.
KFEC wanted a site that they could go in and change their content without too much hassle. All of this is accomplished through a password-protected web interface. They have complete control over all of the content on their site.
They also wanted to be able to enter upcoming events into a database and have them show up on the site. With a some custom programming, we checked that one off the list. They also update this through a password-protected web interface. The banner on the front page pulls the next week's events from a database and displays them at the top of the homepage.
